Tyler Wadsworth, MD has been practicing Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine in the St Louis area for almost 20 years. His clinical activities include treatment of concussion, upper and lower extremity injuries, arthritis, tendon conditions, sprains, fractures, and other injuries. He is also one of the few physicians in the St Louis area using ultrasound imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy and to make therapeutic procedures safer, more accurate, and less painful. Dr. Wadsworth practices newer advanced techniques such as Platelet-Rich Plasma injections to treat tendon conditions, arthritis, and other injuries.

Dr. Wadsworth is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He completed a post-graduate fellowship in Sports Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1990. He has written chapters in sports medicine textbooks and articles about a variety of sports medicine topics in a number of scientific journals. Dr. Wadsworth has lectured at numerous local, national, and international sports medicine conferences. He is Medical Director for the Athletic Training Education Program at Saint Louis University. He is also Medical Director for Sundance Clinical Research, LLC, where he performs clinical trials of promising medications to treat arthritis, tendon injuries, and other medical conditions. Dr. Wadsworth was inducted into the Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame in 2014. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® and is named as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
